100 Jahre ist es her, dass der kindliche Son-Goku und seine Freunde mit dem Sieg gegen den fiesen Feind "Baby" den langersehnten Frieden in den Galaxien wieder hergestellt haben. Seine Kampfgefährtin Pan ist mittlerweile eine betagte Frau und stolze Großmutter des kleinen Son-Goku Jr. Äußerlich scheint der Junge ganz nach seinem legendären Ur-Ur-Großvater geraten zu sein, doch charakterlich ist nicht viel Verwandschaft zu erkennen: Son-Goku Jr. Ist nicht mehr als ein weinerliches Weichei. Erst eine schwere Erkrankung seiner Großmutter lässt in ihm die Kräfte seiner Blutsverwandschaft wachsen. Zusammen mit seinem Freund "Pack" macht er sich auf die Suche nach einem Dragonball, der seiner Großmutter zur Genesung verhelfen soll - und erlebt dabei Abenteuer, die er sich nie hätte träumen lassen.... Werden Son-Goku Jr. und Pack rechtzeitig den Dragonball finden? Wie sollen sie sich aus dem Kochtopf der bösen Hexe Mamba befreien? Und werdn sie einem Rudel hungriger Wölfe entfliehen können?
